What can be treated with acupuncture?
Acupuncture is part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a therapeutic approach that has been practiced for over 2,500 years. We stimulate specific points on the body to restore the body's energy balance. These points can be stimulated with needles, pressure, cupping, or moxibustion (heat). Acupuncture can have an effect on pain (for example, by increasing blood flow to the site of injury), but it also addresses internal imbalances.
